Selah is the only studio in New York transforming cremated remains into faceted, crystalline stones. Rather than following the conventional rules of the pet memorial industry, we set an entirely new one — blending disciplined Korean sensibility with our own proprietary refinement technology.
We didn't build Selah to compete within an existing category. We built it because the existing category wasn't enough. A shelf urn was never going to be the final word on how we remember the ones we love, so we created something that could be.
Who We Are

Selah is a memorial studio based in Tribeca, New York City — small by design, precise by discipline. We work with families, not case numbers. Every stone that leaves our studio was refined by our own hands, in our own space, under a process we built and patented ourselves (Patent No. 10-1124873).
We are not a factory shipping keepsakes at scale, and we never intend to be. Our team is intentionally close to the work — from the first phone call, to the private consultation, to the moment your Selah Stones are placed into your hands. That closeness is not a limitation of our size. It's the entire point.
We work with pets. We work with people. Grief doesn't distinguish between the two, and neither do we.

We built Selah so that no other family has to feel what we felt. Not because grief can be fixed, but because how you're cared for in that moment can make all the difference in how you carry it forward.
Our Story

Selah began the day we lost our senior dog — during a surgery that was supposed to help her, in one of the most frightening moments of our lives. Losing her didn't feel like losing a pet. It felt like losing a part of ourselves. What followed was an industry that felt cold and transactional, at the exact moment we needed warmth the most. Her ashes came back to us in a way that felt like sadness, not tribute — something we couldn't bring ourselves to look at, let alone hold onto.
That was the gap we saw. So we built Selah: a way to carry the love forward, not just the loss.
